sOlar: Collage Exhibition

sOlar is a Manchester based collage artist influenced by astronomy, science fiction, music and iconic imagery. His surreal collage works are all created by hand using just scissors and a scalpel – he enjoys working out landscapes and scenes using only the material he’s personally sourced.

The original work is then scanned and reproduced digitally to create exhibition-ready prints.

A series of these pieces are on display in PLY until mid-August and are available for customers to buy.

As well as creating pieces to exhibit, sOlar (also a DJ) is working with a number of independent music producers to create unique record sleeve artwork.
