Sketchy Sundays

Soothe your sketchy Sunday with a food, drink and a draw here at PLY.

Every Sunday, in addition to being able to eat sourdough pizza and some antipasti, drink a craft beer, Bloody Mary, nice wine or a just a nice long glass of water, you’ll be able to draw out your weekend woes.

We’ll be leaving pads and pencils out for everyone to have a play with and any good looking work that gets left behind will be displayed in the bar.

Once a month we’ll pick a pic that will win its sketcher dinner for 2 at PLY. NICE.

This weeks session is being hosted by the excellent Katie Cooper – who has made her mark on PLY before, she was the first artist to grace our doodle wall! She’ll be kicking this dreary start to winter to the curb and leading with a TROPICAL theme! So this week, it’s all about the brights!

Katie is a Manchester based photographer, artist and illustrator. No stranger to the challenge of large scale work, her illustrations have recently graced the walls of Urban Outfitters in both Manchester and Sheffield and you may have spotted more of her illustration and sign writing work in and around the Northern Quarter too.

So get sketchin’, kids . And remember: those who can’t draw, draw _______.
