Fix Up Look Sharp Clothes Swapping Party – with Swap Shop Mcr

As part of Fix Up Look Sharp and our work with the fashion label of the same name, we’re raising money for CLIC Sargent with a big SWISH!

Together with our friends at Swap Shop Mcr, we’re holding a clothes swapping party! They say that one person’s trash can be another’s treasure, so if you’re spring-cleaning and thinking about a wardrobe refresh doon’t throw your clothes away; save them for the 16th March and “swish” them for other pre-loved items!

So how does it work?

Admission is £2 – will all proceeds going to CLIC Sargent, supporting young people with cancer. Clothes drop off is at 6pm swishing to start at 6.30pm.

Bring along any clean and presentable clothes that someone else can give a good home to – men’s, women’s and children’s clothes are all gratefully received! And then get ready to do swapsies – you might bring one sweater and take home a couple of pairs of jeans or hang a party frock on the ‘Swishing Rail’ and leave with a pair of party shoes and a feather boa (please, someone bring a feather boa), it’s your choice!

All leftover clothes will be donated to , who will transform them into one of a kind fashion pieces to raise funding for CLIC Sargent’s vital work with children and young people with cancer. Any items not upcycled will be donated to CLIC Sargent to be sold in store.

We’ll also be following this up with an upcycling workshop of our own so if you pick up something that needs a nip and a tuck, bring it along!
